One of the most popular races each year on Mount Ru-pehu. file Christiana Hamilton) Ski Club's Open Derby, was run in miserable conditions near the third chairlift on Saturdaj - About 90 skiers took place tn the run over a 500-yard giant slalom course. Results were:— Men. P. Quinn (Stratford). 36sec, 1. Women.—E. Keane (Ruapehu Ski Club) and A- Latham (Wanganui ski Out). 413 sec lequal), I.
