Fascism In U.K. (N.Z. Press Assn. —Copyrtflat) LONDON. August 5. British Jews are reported to be planning a nation-wide campaign against organisations such as Sit Oswald Mosley's Union Movement. Hundreds of Jewish exservicemen were defying their leader’s advice to “keep calm" and were organising “positive action" against Nazi-type meetings which have ended in violence in recent weeks, said the "Sunday Telegraph." It said prominent Jewish ex-servicemen claimed they could "mobilise 10.000 Jews ' on the streets within a few hours if need arose." The "Sunday Telegraph" said scores of persons had offered money to the Jews to help them in their fight against the pro-Nazi movements. It said a national antiFacist committee was formed in Manchester last week. The inaugural meeting was attended by many Jewish youths. The Manchester Labour Councillor (Mr Peter Grimshaw! who was responsible for organising the committee said: “If the Government continues to hesitate over introducing legislation we shall have to resort to violence. That is the only kind of language Mosley understands."
