TOUR MANAGER LOSES POST
Dismissed As U.K. Club Chairman (N.Z, Press Association) AUCKLAND. August 1. The manager of the British Rugby League team. Mr Stuart Hadfield, learned in Auckland today that he had been dismissed from his post as, chairman of {he English club. Wake field Trinity, after one or the club’s most successful seasons Mr Hadfield said: "I was promised by some of the committee that the question of chaifman would not be decided until I returned from the tour of Australia and New Zealand "I’m very upset at this news, not because of the loss of office so much, but because I feel the committee has let me down In making an appointment before I return home Tire decision has made things very embarrassing for me here."
Wakefield Trinity won the Rugby League Cup and finished runner-up in the championship
