PARKING LIMIT IMPOSED
St. Asaph Street Area AU-day packers who have been using St Asaph street between Madras and Barbadoes streets have lost their advantage as a result of a complaint to the City Council by a businessman. He said there was chaos in the street at times because the section of the street was fully occupied by parked vehicles from before 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and this had a serious reaction on business premises in the area. City Council traffic officers found that because of the alldav packers there was considerable double parking of trade vehicles loading and unloading. As a result the council is instituting a 30-minute parking area on both sides of the street.
