MOTOR-CYCLE TEAM
Formation At Burnham
A motor-cycle display team has been formed by the Southern District section of the Royal New Zealand Army Provost Corps. It is the first such team to be formed in the South Island. Training, on 500 c.c machines, wiH be carried out on spot"s afternoon at Burnham Military Camp each week, and it is honed the six-man team will be able to make its first public appearance in November at the Canterbury Agricultural and Pastoral Association’s centennial show
Training is in the hands of Staff-Sergeant G. Wootton. of Bumham A similar team from the Centra! Military district, also under the charge of Staff-Sergeant Wootton, performed in many North Island centres about two years ago.
