COMPENSATION COURT
Payment Of Lump Sum Patrick Mullan, a contractor (Mr R. P. Thompson), was granted leave in the Compensation Court yesterday to stop weekly compensation payments to George Dennison, a labourer (Mr B. A. Barrer) on payment of a lump sum of £177 IDs. Judge Dalglish said he was satisfied that Dennison should be treated more generously than was usual in cases of this nature.
Dennison injured his back while lifting a pipe on June 5. 1961. Most of the medical evidence in the case was heard on Monday.
