Claim* that there wa» generally "nothing wrong” with the handicapping system were made by Mr A J. Nicoll, an executive member, at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Trotting Conference at Wanganui today. Mr Nicoll was speaking in a discussion on an Invercargill Trotting Club contention that the system required overhauling. In spite of Mr NieoU’s claim, delegates approved a recommendation that the conference’s handicapping sub-committee review the handicapping system Partial support for the Invercargill proposal was given by the Auckland delegate.
