SCULPTURE AT UNIVERSITY.—This modern sculpture is temporarily resting outside the studio block of the School of Art, itself adorned with a big coloured mural design. The form represents man wrestling with forces beyond his control and caged in a hostile environment. The figure is made of cement fondeu and the crystalline frame is welded steel. This is the work of Carl Sydow, a diploma student last year.
