Long Service To Plunket
Mrs A. Rose, who has been president of the Christchurch branch of the Plunket Society for five years, will not seek re-election at the branch’s annual meeting on Monday A member of the society for about 27 years, Mrs Rose has given outstanding service to the organisation. In
1958 she was awarded an M.BX for her work for infant welfare. A .member of the society’s Dominion council for 13 years, Mrs Rose has also held office on the Christchurch branch’s executive committee. the finance committee, the Karitane Hospital management and finance committee and its house committee. She was senior vice-presi-dent of the branch for several years before her election to president.
