Cycling WARNING ON DRUGS
Severe Steps Threatened

July 10. The medical service of the Tour de I’Avenlr amateur cycle race yesterday warned against the drugging of riders. Tne warning, addressed to cyclists, trainers, and team managers, said that if the drugging of riders did not cease severe steps would be taken, including expulsion and withdrawal of licences.
A communique from the medical officer of the Tour de I’Avenlr (Dr. Boncour) said that evidence of drugging had been noted in several teams.
