NOTIFIABLE DISEASES
Eight Cases Reported Eight cases of notifiable diseases were reported in the Christchurch health district last week. They comprised two of tuberculosis, two of malaria, and four of infective hepatitis. One of the tuberculosis cases was pulmonary and the other glandular. The two malaria sufferers were both returned servicemen from Malaya now at Burnham. A serviceman at Burnham was among the infective hepatitis victims. There was also an adult woman from Burnham. Both other cases were men in Christchurch city.
