TRAINEE FROM FIJI
Success of W.D.F.F. Project A Fijian girl. Miss Vikaikil Borovou, who trained at Stratheona Homecraft Train-i ing School as the guest of the Women's Division of Fed-1 erated Farmers last year, has' now returned to Fiji to teach I women in 22 villages. “Our project of having a 1 Fijian girl as our guest and trainee was a great success." i said the Dominion president; (Mrs T. M. Watson) in her' report at the opening of the! division’s conference last 1 evening. The division was now planning a visit to New Zealand for an older Fijian woman to learn home-making from the organisation, she said. The visitor would be given opportunities to study in! areas where the weather was! similar to Fiji. “This will also be of great | benefit to our near Pacific! neighbours.” said Mrs Wat-' son.
