Women's Royal Army Corps, who has left the Army after almost 20 years' service. During the Second World War. Miss Good joined the Red Cross Transport Service and later joined the Territorial Force as a driver. She had many jobs with the Army in the Wellington district before travelling overseas with a detachment of Tuis in January, 1945. She first spent six months at the Cairo Club, then went on to the Bari and Rome Clubs before going to London to gain experience at New Zealand House and other British libraries. On her return to New Zealand in 1947. Miss Good returned to civilian life at the Karori Library for almost nine months before she enlisted in the interim Army later that year. Her first appointment was as a sergeant in the staff office of her corps at Army Headquarters. She gained her commission

as second lieutenant in April 1949, and spent the next eight years at ArmyHeadquarters before being posted to Waiouru Camp for 12 months as officer commanding W.R.A.C. Later appointments were as deputy assistant director of the W.RA.C. in the Central Military District and her present appointment, stafl captain to the military secretary at Army Headquarters. Miss Good is a-r keen sportswoman and has represented the Army at badminton and tennis.
