National Youth Council
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, June 25. Steps are being taken in Wellington and Auckland to co-ordinate all national youth organisations into a national youth council with more than 200,000 members. After its formation the council would be affiliated to the World Assembly of Youth with 55 other Western countries. Representatives of youth organisations in Auckland and Wellington are trying to set up regional youth councils which it is hoped will later combine to form the first part of a national youth council.
