Trouble With Satellite

Trouble has developed tn a satellite which has been transmitting information for a world-wide weather analysis since it was launched from Cape Canaveral on February 8. A spokesman for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration said a tape recorder of the Tiros IV satellite began to malfunction over the week-end This has limited picture transmissions to within a 1500-mile area of the receiving stations at Wallops Island. Virginia, and Point Mugu, California. A.B. Consol. Div. —Directors oi A.B. Consolidated. Ltd., recommend final dividends of 23 per cent, preference (making 51 per cent, for the year) and 2J per cent, ordinary (5 per cent.): payable July 20, ex dividend July 17.—(P.A.)
