Record Prices For Pigs
(N Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. June 17.
The New Zealand record price for a pedigree pig was broken twice in an hour when the progeny of an imported Landrace boar were auctioned at Wellsford on Friday. The previous record price of 320gns. set up in Hamilton last year, toppled when a young sow and a boar sold for 350 and 370gns respectively.
