Student Action On Fees
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 17.
A special meeting of Victoria University students on Friday night overwhelmingly voted no-confidence in their association executive.
Speakers condemned the executive for not supporting the recent demonstration at the opening of Parliament protesting at the raising of university fees. A motion calling for the lowering and eventual abolition of fess was also passed. A caretaker executive was elected.
