Boy Returned Home
(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN. June 7. A 12-year-old boy who decided on Tuesday to take some time off school for no apparent reason, had Dunedin and Port Chalmers police out searching from yesterday afternoon until after dark but returned home of his own accord. The boy left home for the Dunedin North Intermediate School at about 8 asn. on Tuesday morning and was seen at school at 9 am. Next report came from Port Chalmers where be was seen at 1230 pm. yesterday and chased during the afternoon. Police said today that be had come home “some time during the night.” He was back at school tills morning.
