ELIZABETH]
Fading chrysanthemums, chilly winds, and steamed pud* dings all seem to make part of the late autumn picture. A few quick and easy new recipes gathered now will make for easy winter catering. I know few puddings easier than a steamed pudding which is mixed and on to steam an hour or more before the meal is due, warm and ready when required. Even the last-minute making of sauce or custard, which do so much to help some puddings, can be avoided if speed and ease are the main essentials. With this new version Sultana Fudge Pudding all you need to do is turn it from its bowl.
