Thais Admit Murder

Two Lao tribesmen arrested in Northern Thailand have admitted being among three who fatally shot a New Zealand missionary after robbing him on May 18 Official report* reaching Bangkok say police have also recovered the dead man * wrist, let watch which was among item* seized by the bandits. The missionary. Mr Graham Roy Orpin, aged 26. was robbed and shot near a road junction in hill country in northern Thailand. Mr Orpin was found a *hort while later by his assistants—members of the Meo tribe — who had him rushed to hospital by bus. He died three day* later.
