Solicitor Who Overcharged (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 25 The Court of Appeal, tn a reserved judgment delivered by the president <Mr Justice Greeson', today d -- missed an appeal brought by Sydney George Cathro. cf Patea. a solicitor, again* a decision of Mr Justice McGregor, at New Plymouth, reducing the amount of cor a payable to the appellant by the respondents in rerpect of professional services rendered by the appellant. "Before us, counsel for the appellant's argument was that the amounts suggested in the registrar’s report were too low.” said the president. "As the order stands, the appellant will receive approximately £475 in respect of two actions for damages, which arose out of the same accident and which were settled before trial.”
