Noxious Weed Eradication
(N.Z. Press Association) GREYMOUTH. May 25 The noxious weed problem was similar to the noxious animal problem, and should be taken up on a national basis, with all taxpayers assisting in eradication. said Mr M. Wallace in moving that a remit to this effect be placed before the national conference of Federated Farmers. The motion was carried at today's annual executive meeting of West Coast Federated Farmers. Delegates agreed that the noxious weed problem, particularly ragwort, was serious on the West Coast.
