Life Member Appointed
A former president of the Insurance Institute of New Zealand. Mr C. A. Blazey. was made a life member at the institute’s annual conference in Christchurch yesterday Officers elected at the conference were:—President, Mr H. R. Hicks (Christchurch): deputy-president, Mr J. A Fay 'Auckland); vice-presi-dents. Messrs W. G. Hopkins (Auckland). R. Miles (Christ, church). J. McKenzie (Dunedin), and S. Ellis (Wellington); committee. Messrs V G Hill. L. A. Randerson, C. A Blazey, C. M. Brown. K. S. McKenzie. G. R. Congreve, O. J. Hall and S. Ellis (all of Wellington).
Insurance Prizes Awarded Mr T. D C. Chilvers. of Christchurch, was awarded a tutorial school prize at the annual conference of the Insurance Institute of New Zea. land in Christchurch yesterday.
