FIGHT FOR PENSION
Woman To Go To London (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. May 23. Mrs Alison Warmington, of Wellington, will fly to London on her own on Friday to do battle in Britain after a 10-year fight by letter. Mrs Warmington is the widow of Wing Commander F. H. P. Warmington. formerly of the Royal Air Force, and she hopes to attend an Imperial War Widows* Pensional Appeal Tribunal hearing. She has carried out a 10year campaign to receive a pension. “Now I'm going to London myself.’’ she said. ‘‘lf I win I'm entitled to a wing commander's pension for the last 10 years and a half,” Her first move in London will be to brief counsel.
