122 Entries In Southland There were 122 entries tn the Southland Kennel Association's winter championship show, held at Invercargill on Saturday. Mrs E. J. Clarke's boxer. Leinster Dirke. won the award for the best dog in the show. The runner-up was Mrs A K. Bayne's Pomeranian. Gold Nug-' get of Burwood. Mrs F. Bethune's cocker spaniel. Shadrach Silver Dew. was the best puppy in the show. The judge was Mr T. Jobey. of Hastings. Group results were:— Toys.—Best toys: Mrs A K.
