Late Crop Of Peas
The last of the .season's green peas, a late crop from Nelson, were offered in the city markets yesterday. There has been a keen demand for leas recently, but they have not been available for some *ime. Also on sale were the irst of the hothouse lettuces. Peas sold in the shops at Is 8d a pound and lettuces at 2s each.
