ALLEGATION RESENTED
Maori Blocks’ Management (N.Z. Press Association) GISBORNE, May 21. Strong feeling against the accusations by people who implied that much of the East Coast land under management by incorporated blocks was going to waste because of the inadequacy of the management, was expressed at the East Coast regional Maori leaders' conference at Ruatoria during the week-end. The conference thought that much of this deterioration was because the land had not been developed to a a stage at the time of settlement where the ordinary settler could work it to maximum efficiency
