NAGLE IN FOURWAY TIE

Four Birdies In Third Round 70 (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) HOT SPRINGS (Arkansas). May 20. K. Nagle, of Australia, had a 70 in the third* round of the Hot Springs open golf championship yesterday to join three other players in the lead. W Collins, the leader over the first two rounds, had a 72 which allowed Nagle. A. Geiberger (67) and B. Cupit (70), to join him on 205. Geiberger’s five-under-par score was the best round of the day. Nagle dropped birdie putts on ♦he third and ninth holes, fell behind with bogies on the seventh and twelfth. bift finished with two birdies on the seventeenth and eighteenth.

Girls’ Under 21 Tourney

The Canterbury District Ladies’ Golf Association held an under 21 junior tournament at Hagley during the week-end. Results were:— Gross. —G. Peate 83, J. Hutchinson 90. C. Ainger 91, G. Falloon 92.
