CAMPBELL ISLAND
New Publication Soon
A new publication on Campbell Island, written in collaboration by an American scientist. Professor A. M Bailey and Mr J. H Sorensen, a well-known New Zealand naturalist, is expected to be on sale in New Zealand some time this year The book was published In the United States in February by the Denver Museum of Natural History. The book is a fine-quality production of 300 pages, and is profusely illustrated with bird and animal pictures. It has an introductory historical section, and sections on the geology, vegetation, and the bird and animal life of Campbell Island. The major portion of the book deals with the birds of the island, and contains much scientific data obtained in recent years, as well as excellent camera studies.
