Indian Summer For Brisbane
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Oopvripht) SYDNEY, May 20 Plans have been changed again for the New Zeelandbred filly, Indian Summer. She now will run in the Brisbane Cup. She was beaten in the Barnes Plate at Randwick yesterday. G. Moore, who had the ride, said the filly was squeezed out a couple of times.
He said she also was run off the track at the home turn, and his defeat by half a head was disappointing. Moore told the owner that Indian Summer’s run was a great Brisbane Cup trial.
