Top Jockeys Hurt
(N.Z. Preu Aisn.—CapurtQM) SYDNEY. May 20. The leading jockeys, J. Thompson and G. Podmore. were injured in a three-horse cratfi in the Two-year-old Handicap at Randwick yesterday. Exaggerate CThompeon), General Delivery (Podmore) and Fair Patton (H. Cope) fell near the half-mile. Thompson suffered a cut on the bridge of hi* noae and a black eye. Podmore had a gashed scalp, which bled badly, and an injured forearm. Cope was uninjured, but had to forgo the mount on Bush Belle in the next race.
