Woman’s Body Recovered
(N Z. Press Association i AUCKLAND. May 20. The body of a woman who had been missing from her home since Friday was recovered from the Auckland Harbour at Judge’s Bay on Saturday. She was: Mrs Beatrice May Bennett, aged 47. of Sentinel road. Herne Bay. Police said there were no suspicious circumstances. Hall for Bowls. The foundation stone for the Canterbury Indoor Bowls Association's hall to be built in Kearneys road, was laid on Saturday by the president of the association (Mr J. Powell). Canterbury will be the first centre in New Zealand to have its own headquarters. The hall will hold 32 mats.
