Association of New Zealand (Mr G. Mazuran) in his report to the annua] meeting of the association. “More selective varieties would enable us to imorove the quality of w’ines and increase the yield an acre,” said Mr Mazuran He said the department obtained cuttings from overseas government departments, and often the cuttinee were proved, unsuitable for New Zealand conditions "When some of us are overseas we should be able to make the necessary arrangements and import some of the varieties which we. as practical persons, consider to be suitable for our conditions.” Mr Mazuran said.
