Motor-Cyclist Injured
<N.Z Press Association) OAMARU. May 20 A motor-cyclist, Ivan McArthur, of 18 Harris street. Waimate, suffered critical head injuries and fractures of the wrist and ankle when his machine collided with a car at the corner of Arun and Lune streets. Oamaru, at 9.30 p.m., on Saturday. A pillion passenger, Robson Nisbet, aged 18, of 29 Usk street. Oamaru, suffered concussion and a fractured arm.
The car was driven by Lois Dawn Sarah Harding, of 20 Balmoral street. Oamaru.
McArthur’s condition was reported at the Oamaru Hospital tonight as serious.
