Situation. —A complex low pressure system is moving on to New Zealand from the Tasman Sea. Forecast:—

West Coast and Nelson.—Moderate to fresh north-east winds; overcast with periods of rain; mild temperatures. Outlook: occasional showers. Marlborough and Canterbury.—Moderate northeasterly winds, fresh at times on the east coast: cloudy with scattered light rain at times: temperatures moderate to mild. Outlook: partly cloudy.
