Foresters Lodge
Next year the hundredth anniversary of the Canterbury United District of the Ancient Order of Foresters will be celebrated, the annual meeting of the lodge at Kirwee was told recently During the year 20 members died, and 29 new members were initiated. Pay. meats to members during the year from various funds was almost £5OOO.
Officers elected were: District chief ranger, Mr R. E Cunninghame; sub - chief ranger, Mr J. L. Stead; beadle, Mr A. H. Arthur; woodward, Mr C. W. Truscott; treasurer, Mr G. J. Osborne; ritual supervisor, Mr X R. Hide.
