Rowing SECTIONAL MANAGER
Mr D. Rowlands Nominated
(TiZ. Press Association) ' WELLINGTON. May 16. Five times 'national singles rowing champion, Mr D. Rowlands (Auckland), has been nominated by the New Zealand Rowing Council as its sectional manager to go to the Perth Empire Games Mr Rowlands, who has been closely connected with the training of the national eight, is at present a national selector. The council also confirmed that all five classes of rowers who competed recently in the differential trials at Lake Karapiro would be pi*t forward to the Empire Games and Olympic Committee for consideration. In order cf preference, the nominations are:
