Dangerous Driving
(N Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 16. A driver who was said to have "shot off like a rocket” while being warned by a Transport Department officer about incorrect parking was fined £3O by Mr Stewart Hardy. S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court at Papakura today and had his driving licence cancelled for two years. He was Frank Booth Salisbury, a freezing worker, of Papakura. who was charged with dangerous driving. Salisbury was pursued by the officer at speeds of up to 65 m.p.h. between Manurewa and Papakura, it was stated. When he stopped at his home he was said to have asked the officer what he was "going to do about it”
