THREE CARS IN COLLISION
One Driver Suffers
Cut Knee
Three motor-vehicles were involved in a collision on the Picton-Bluff State highway, about three miles north of Ashburton at 646 p.m yesterday. One car was extensively damaged and one driver suffered a cut knee.
The drivers werei Gordon Barry Fuller, of Fairton, No 2 R D.. Ashburton; Eric Barry Osborne, of Christchurch. and Megan Mary Davies, a nurse, of Christchurch The car Miss Davies was driving belonged to Neville James Barton, of Leeston, who was a passenger in the vehicle
The accident occurred when one car was stopped on the centre line while making a right-hand turn into Company road. The other two vehicles, which were following, became involved in the collision. All three cars were travelling north.
Osborne suffered a cur knee and the front of his post-war English station waggon was extensively damaged.
