Sir,—Two taps are shown in “The Press.” Do the modem varieties whine and rattle along with every vibra. tion from neighbours’ bathrooms, washhouses, engines, and what not? Do they throb painful protests whem turned oh during week-ends when water pressure is higher through heavy week-day users being on holiday elsewhere* If so, then is not better design ip civic plumbing required to appreciate any tap?—Yours etc., DATA DATING.
