MOTHER’S DAY
(By EVE) AU kinds of pleasant surprises could happen tomorrow—“Mothers’ Day.” Earlymorning activity in the house might mean breakfast in bed for Mother, prepared and brought in by a daughter. (What a wonderful start to the day!) Noises from; other rooms might mean that the boys are sweeping and tidying up. A sizzling sound and smokey smell might mean Father is cooking dinner. Jobs taken over by thoughtful members of the family, who put their on a fuss for the day, mean more to most women than mink coats and new cars.
