On May 9, the well was at 2089 feet and had not reached 2250 feet early the next day. No formation test has been made since the last routine report.—N.Z.P.A.
Fllntkote Subsidiary. The Fllntkote Company. Ltd, of London, has formed a subsidiary company in Wellington with a nominal capital of £20.000, of which it holds £ 19.999. Fllntkote (New Zealand), Ltd, a private company, will manufacture and deal in asphalt and other kindred and ancillary products. Mr J. H. Legh-Jooes holds the remaining share in the capital of the linn.
