GYMNAST AWARDS
Passes By Y.M.C.A. Members Forty-two boys of the Young Men's Christian Association sat for their New Zealand Gymnastic AssociaUon IncenUve award* this week The tests were for the iron badge (first stage) and the bronze badge (second stage). Later in the year and next year the boy* will sit for their diver and gold ban. The boy* who gained their Iron badge were:—R Dixon. M. Dodds. Q. CoUUter, R. CoUister, M. Riddell R. Innes, G, Murdoch. T. Tavendale. R. Chaplin, J. Atkins, J. Slgglekow, D. Matheson, A. Ryde. J. Gilmore. R. Skurr, G. Brown. M. McEwan, G. Wood, R. Ingold, M. Gamble. M. Humin. S. Kemp, 3. Baker. D. Fright. P. Holder. K. Frewer B. Wilaon, M. Jones. Those who passed the teat for their bronze bar were:—P. Herron D. Empson. D. Napier, L, AUlson, P. Findlay, D. Porter. R. Drinnan. P. McKenzie, B. Winterbourn.
This morning a party of association members who have been tn Invercargill wiU return to Christchurch and on Monday morning a group of Invercargill Y.M.C.A. member* will arrive in Christchurch.
Yesterday an all-day mystery cycle trip wa* conducted by the Christchurch’ association. Sixty boys took part,
