1974 Prediction Now
Within a few days the number of vehicles which have passed over the Auckland harbour bridge since it was opened will be 17 million, the total predicted by the Harbour Board Authority for 1974. In the first eight days of this month 145,405 vehicles used the bridge, an increase of more than 8 per cent on the corresponding period last year.
