Golf LOW SCORES IN FIRST ROUND

B Crampton and K Nagle, were both under par in the first round of the Houston Classic eolf tournament yesterday but still finished well behind the leaders Crampton had a 69 and Nagle a 70. The leader overnight was littleknown G Knudson, who had a 66 to be a stroke ahead of J Cupit and J Herbert. One stroke further back, on 68 were R. Nichols, J. laus, L. Hertbert and M. Rudolph.
