DRAINAGE BOARD BUILDING
Hornby Objection To Loan Members of the Hornby Residents' Association decided at their annual meeting to give full support to the Residents' Affiliated Federation, in lodging an ob. jection with the Local Authorities’ Loans Board to the Christchurch Drainage Board’s proposal to spend £150,000 on a new office building. A supplied report says that the policy of putting a new building before the urgent sewerage requirements of certain residential districts, in particular the Hei Hei area, showed a complete disregard of Drainage Board responsibilities.
