INCENDIARISM SUSPECTED
Fires In Dunedin Newspaper Oilice (NZ. Press Association) DUNEDIN. April 20. The police believe an ineendiarist may be trying to bum down the "Evening Star” building. Detective-Inspector G. W Altv said tonight that detectives were investigating what they believe to have been three deliberate attempts in the last eight weeks to 'et fire to the building The first fire on February 22 disrupted work in the building for several hours The fire was confined to some paper bales, and little damage was done. Last Friday, when investigating a second paper fire, detectives found evidence of a third and unsuccessful attempt to set the paper storeroom alight Mr Alty said investigations were continuing.
