IN MEMORY OF FRENCH NAZI VICTIMS.—A crypt in memory of French men and women who died after being deported by the Germans in the last war was dedicated by President de Gaulle in Paris recently. It contains 200,000 pieces of crystal symbolising those who died. The crystal throws out a mass of points of light to illuminate the corridor, which is completely underground. The entrance, with the points of crystal inside, are shown in this picture.
