Sale To General Foods
General Foods Corporation I New Zealand), Ltd- has acquired control of Perfection Ice Cream Company, Ltd., Christchurch. W. R. Cooke and Son, Ltd., advised the Christchurch Stock Exchange yesterday that the company had accepted the bid made by General Foods for its half-share of Perfection Ice’s capital. The Tai Tapu Central Cooperative Dairy Company held the other half-share of Perfection Ice capital, but sold its share to General Foods some months ago.
