Ketch Blown Back To N.Z.
(N.Z. Press Association) WHANGAHEI, April 18. The 28ft yawl-rigged ketch Rakino, which sailed from Russell for Sydney on April 9, left Whangarei this morning on her way back to her home port of Auckland.
The Rakino ran into a cyclone 100 miles west of Cape Maria Van Dieman and was blown back to the New Zealand coast.
